Thanks / Underwear

As a team we want to thank each of you for the support we received at our Dessert and Auction Night! We exceeded our goal of $12,000 and continue to receive donations from individuals and through our website. We have been overwhelmed by your generosity!

Up until now, we have been focused on funds to support the activity of the Medical Clinic, however we have also been made aware that the 3000 children, who call MCF home, are in need of underwear. We will be doing an underwear drive at our local churches and for some at our places of employment between now and January 31. Please contact us for more information.

Team Tumikia

Our missions trip planning is well underway and with each passing week the excitement builds! Our team name is Tumikia, meaning “serve” is Swahili. We’re made up of 14 people so far but would love to welcome others to join us. We’re leaving February 16 and returning March 3rd, 2018.

Team Tumikia will host a fundraising night with dessert and both silent and live auctions.

If you’re interesting in serving with this trip in any capacity or want to learn more details about our trip or fundraiser, please head over to our contact page and drop us a line!

Mully Movie

What happens when a six-year-old boy in Kenya is abandoned by his family and left to raise himself on the streets? MULLY is no ordinary rags-to-riches tale. It’s the true story of Charles Mully, whose unlikely stratospheric rise to wealth and power leaves him questioning his own existence, searching for meaning in life. Against the better judgment of family and community, MULLY sets out to enrich the fate of orphaned children across Kenya. Jeopardizing his own life and the security of his family, Charles Mully risks everything and sets in motion a series of events that is nothing short of astonishing.

Showing in Winnipeg at Cineplex Odeon McGillivray & VIP Cinemas on October 4 at 7pm and October 12 at 7pm. Pre-buying tickets is recommended. For more information and showings, visit
